Bay Area police investigate dismembered body found in suitcase

SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco police are investigating a dismembered body that was found in a suitcase around 4:15 p.m. on 11th street near Mission Street.

11th street has been closed, from Market to Mission streets, to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic for the police investigation.

Police say there is a suspect, but are not releasing any information about that person. The suspect is not in custody.
