When 86-year-old Floridian Yolie Ball wanted to sell the house she lives in with her husband, she got a little creative with the online listing.

Ball posed in various rooms of her house to make the real estate look more appealing.

"The first picture, the one where I have my head sticking out of the bedroom door, I was going to pull back and Sandra said, 'No, mom, stay right there,'" Ball said, explaining to ABC News how the hilarious photos came about. "It went from there."

Ball's 15-year-old granddaughter Makenzie found the photos adorable, so she posted them to social media to see if others would agree. They did.

The photos have been retweeted tens of thousands of times on Twitter, with those who commented doting over the grandmother and how cute she is. They also made jokes about the charming grandma being a part of the deal, which -- Ball made sure to note -- was clarified in the Craigslist ad.

After the post went viral, the elder Ball said her granddaughter called her, unsure what her reaction would be.

"She called me last night at 7:30 and said, 'Grandma, I'm going to tell you something,'" Ball told ABC News. "'I did something and I don't know if it's going to be good or bad.'"

It was good, Mrs. Ball assured her. She said she's greatly enjoying all the attention, though it's been overwhelming.

"It was just a joke. We're always doing silly stuff," she said of the photos. Of the attention she said, "We're getting a kick out of it."
