LOS ANGELES -- Two of the Dodgers' key contributors are scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgical procedures this week.
On Thursday, team physician Neal ElAttrache will operate on infielder Justin Turner's troublesome left knee to clean up loose bodies. ElAttrache repaired the AC joint in catcherYasmani Grandal's left shoulder Wednesday morning.
Both players should be ready by spring training, the team said.
Turner missed some games with inflammation in his knee but still led the Dodgers with an .861 OPS.
Grandal's production plummeted after the All-Star break, in part due to pain in his left shoulder. He had a .927 OPS before the break and a .498 OPS after it.
