Two Cities Marathon road closures
Thousands are expected to hit the pavement running in Fresno for this year's Two Cities Marathon and Half marathons this Sunday.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Organizers of the race have already put up signs for closures in several Northeast Fresno neighborhoods ahead of Sunday's race. The route takes runners through parts of Fresno and Clovis with major streets including Friant and Shepherd closed off.
Runners with the full and half marathon have seven hours to complete the race which begins at 6:30 a.m.
Road Closures:
- Friant Road (Audubon to Willow) 4 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Shepherd Avenue (Friant to Willow - eastbound) 5 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
- Shepherd Avenue (Friant to Willow - westbound) 5 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- Teague (at intersction of Willow Avenue) 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- Alluvial (between Peach and Clovis Avenues) 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Main Alternate Routes:
- Willow Avenue (North/South)
- Nees Avenue (East/West)
- Herndon Avenue (East/West)
