Vin Scully's grandchildren surprise him before final broadcast in Los Angeles

Before Vin Scully took the mic for his final call of a Los Angeles Dodgers home game on Sunday, the Dodgers tweeted out a photo of Scully's grandchildren in the broadcasting booth alongside him.

Based off the tweet from the team, their visit was a surprise for their 88-year-old grandpa.

And judging by the smile on the legendary broadcaster's face, the surprise was well-received.

Scully's last call will be on Oct. 2, when the Dodgers face theGiantsin San Francisco.
