Some Valley schools close due to weather conditions

OAKHURST, Calif. (KFSN) -- This latest storm system is impacting local schools.

Classes were canceled at Yosemite High School in Oakhurst and Bass Lake School District due to weather conditions.

Initially, school was delayed by one hour, then officials upgraded it to a closure.

In Yosemite Unified, elementary campuses remain open on regular schedules.

The district is urging families to stay safe while out on roadways.
