Alec Nolan
Alec Nolan joined the ABC30 Action News sports team in March 2022. Born and raised in Fresno, Alec is excited to be back in the Central Valley.

Alec most recently worked at KTVZ, the NBC station in Bend, Oregon. During his time in the Pacific Northwest, Alec worked as a Weekend Anchor/Reporter, allowing him to cover a little bit of everything. This includes high school sports, local crime, politics, COVID-19, wildfires and more.

Alec's path to TV news started in radio. He worked as a Sports Reporter & Host at KCSB-FM in Santa Barbara. After that, Alec jumped to sales and spent three years as an Account Executive, working at both KEYT in Santa Barbara and KUSA/9News in Denver. At that point, Alec decided he couldn't ignore his true passion, and jumped back into journalism.

Alec is a Central California native, he spent his childhood/teen years in Northeast Fresno and his mom still lives there today. He attended Mountain View Elementary, Granite Ridge Intermediate and Clovis North. He's a proud graduate of UC Santa Barbara and is excited to work to cover local sports.
