Ricky Courtney
Ricky Courtney is the Executive Producer of Digital Media for Action News, leading a team of talented journalists and overseeing the station's digital strategy.

He has been a senior news manager for ABC30 since 2018. Before taking on this role, Ricky was a television news producer for Action News between 2010 and 2013 and in Seattle between 2014 and 2018.

Ricky is a six-time Emmy Award winner for his contributions to television news and documentary production. He is also a recipient of the prestigious National Edward R. Murrow Award, which recognizes work that exemplifies the importance and impact of journalism as a service to the community while also demonstrating technical expertise.

He is a proud graduate of Fresno State's Craig School of Business, where he earned a Master of Business Administration. Go Bulldogs!

He also previously graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelor's degree in Television and Broadcast Journalism and from College of the Canyons with an Associate's degree.

He and his wife have two dogs and are proud resource parents helping foster children. In his free time, Ricky is a craft beer homebrewer and loves to travel across the state, nation, and world whenever possible.
