The 14-month-long investigation continues, but with a new photo of a vehicle leaving the scene and a reward for information, investigators are now hoping someone will come forward with answers.

In July of 2022, Vallejo died during a house fire at College and McKenzie Avenues in Central Fresno.
"Everybody else got out of this fire except for Isaac Vallejo, and we still have not solved the murder in this case," said Chief Paco Balderrama with the Fresno Police Department.
Fire investigators determined an accelerant was used on the front and back doors of the home and classified the case as arson.
On Monday, Fresno police released a photo of a car that is believed to be tied to the fire.
They are hopeful someone will recognize it and come forward.

Chief Balderrama also announced new billboards are going up in 10 spots across the city, offering a $12,500 reward and encouraging anyone with information to call Valley Crime Stoppers at 559-498-STOP.
"We want them to not forget just like we have not forgotten. We had a 7-year-old little boy who was murdered, who burned alive, whose 14-year-old brother had the courage to jump out of that second story," explained Balderrama.
The teen was one of two children and three adults who escaped the home where Isaac remained trapped on the second floor. The house was later demolished, but the memories of the tragedy there remain.
