It happened around 8 pm Friday near 10th and Puncheu Streets.

Authorities say 36-year-old Ezekial Fajardo stabbed both of his brothers and then lit their house on fire.
Nearby homes had to be evacuated due to the fire.
Deputies say Fajardo stabbed himself while inside the burning home. He was taken to the hospital and suffered third-degree burns to more than half of his body.

Deputies had to help Mendota police arrest Fajardo after a taser failed to slow him down.
Both victims were taken to Community Regional Medical Center and are expected to survive.
Police are still investigating a motive.
