Gas station is also craft beer lovers go-to
PASADENA, Calif. -- A Shell gas station in Pasadena stocks more than just the usual items in store. The Arroyo Shell owned by Shibli Haddad is home to an ever changing assortment of craft beers.
"The idea came from my sister to do the crafter beers," said Shibli Haddad. "When it started to take off I was really surprised by it."
Haddad's interest in craft beers started a few years earlier with just a small selection of unique brews which has now grown into an "out of control" selection.
"Its pretty good to get a tank of gas and then you come here and end up spending more money on a six pack of beer that you cant get anywhere else," said customer Nicholas Gillin of Pasadena.
And Haddad makes sure there's always something new for people to try.
"It rotates every single week. You're not going to see the same stuff every single week. It always changes," said Haddad.
