Bobbi Kristina Brown: Nick Gordon 'desperately wants to be with' his love

Bobbi Kristina Brown has been hospitalized since she was found unresponsive in her home in January. Now, her boyfriend Nick Gordon "desperately wants to be with the one he loves," according to ABC News.

It has been nearly three weeks since local police said that Gordon, 25, and a friend found Brown, 21 face down in a tub. But now, in a statement through his reps, Gordon has opened up on his efforts to be reunited with Brown.

"Nick has been trying privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively," Gordon's lawyers Randall Kessler and Joe Habachy told ABC News in a statement. "He has respected the family's wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation. But he desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted."

Kessler denied reports that Gordon was seeking legal action to see Brown last week, and that that Gordon's "only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina. He remains in constant prayer for his companion and hopes to be reunited with her soon," according to ABC News.

Gordon isn't the husband of Brown, nor an official family member. Gordon and Brown previously told reporters they had wed last year, but a legal representative for Bobby Brown denied the claim.

Gordon and Brown began dating shortly after the death of her mother, singer Whitney Houston, in 2012. Before then, Gordon lived in the Houston household for nearly a decade, according to ABC News.

Brown is currently surrounded by family, including her father, who continues to ask for privacy as they monitor her condition.
