Officer hands uncle traffic citation, little girl battling cancer something special

A man in Missouri was pulled over while driving his 5-year-old niece home from chemotherapy. The officer gave him a ticket, but he also gave him something else.

The officer gave the man's niece a backpack filled with goodies, and he gave her this handwritten note which says "From Officer Shawn - hope you get to feeling better real soon." The officer also drew a little smiley face.

If you're wondering why the officer had the backpack, it's because the Saint Charles County Sheriff's Department has a program where all officers are given backpacks to help kids in crisis.
