Mother says porn found on new tablet purchased at North Carolina Kmart

MONROE, N.C. -- A North Carolina mother is outraged after she claims child pornography popped up on a new electronic tablet she purchased for her son at Kmart.

Lisa Escobar said just hours after she picked up the Trio tablet from layaway at the Kmart in Monroe, the graphic images popped up as her sons were watching a movie on the tablet.

The Monroe Police Department is now investigating.

Meanwhile, Kmart and the tablet's manufacturer say they take the matter very seriously and are conducting their own investigation.
