FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The fast-moving fires in California have resulted in the closure of several United States Post Offices in the area.
Those post offices now closed include locations in Shaver Lake, Auberry and Tollhouse.
Residents are now being directed to go pick up their mail at offices in Madera, Awahnee and Friant.
Customers are reminded to bring proper photo ID to make mail and package pickups.
The postal service apologizes for the inconvenience and hopes to have the offices reopened as soon as possible.
Customers are directed to go to Madera Post Office, 201 South D. Street, Madera, CA 93638 to pick up their mail. Its hours are 9 am to 5 pm from Monday through Friday. Customers must provide identification to get their mail.
Customers are directed to go to Ahwahnee Post Office, 44878 Notre Dame Lane, Ahwahnee, CA 93601. Hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Customers must provide identification to get their mail.
Customers are directed to go to Friant Post Office, 17275 N. Friant Road, Friant, CA 93626. Hours: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Customers must provide identification to get their mail.
