DMV office on Olive in Fresno will close for 30 days

FRESNO. Calif. (KFSN) -- One of the busiest DMV offices in the Central Valley will be closed for the next 30 days.

The office at Olive and Weber Avenue is moving into a new building on the same lot. That DMV site serves about 1,000 people a day.

DMV spokesperson Jessica Gonzalez said, "We are going to take that staff and we are going to spread them out so for people during that month closure if they need to go to a field office they can hopefully be helped in the same amount of time."

The new building is double the size of the old site and is scheduled to open on June 30th.
