A Fresno City College music instructor is up for a Grammy!

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Mike Dana works with students who are studying jazz - and is a jazz guitar player himself. Dana is one of 25-finalists for the Grammy's "Music Educator Award" - which has only been given out for the last two years.

Dana was chosen out of more than 45-hundred other nominees nationwide. The 25-finalists will be whittled down to ten in December.

If Dana wins, he'll get to accept the award at the Grammy's in Southern California in February. We'll keep you posted on what happens!
