Woman receives surprise proposal during multiple sclerosis walk

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- People took to the streets Saturday to fight multiple sclerosis and one of them walked away with a ring.

There was a surprise proposal at Fig Garden Village, as at least 2,000 people gathered for Walk MS and many of them walking for specific MS patients.

Jill Gebhard earned the title of Most Inspirational Walker which is what got her on stage, so it all worked out perfectly for her boyfriend who'd already planned to propose to her during the event.

Of course, the main purpose here was to raise money.

The goal was $175,000 and it'll help fund research worldwide, and local programs and services to help people with MS and their families.
