Fire destroys Tulare County home

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A house was destroyed by fire and two people are now at the hospital Wednesday.

The fire broke out just before 9 a.m. in the town of London. An adult and three children were home when the flames were first seen in the home on Road 57 at Avenue 376.

When firefighters arrived, they found flames consuming the building and quickly approaching a neighboring home. Additional resources were called in to help fight the fire.

Two people that escaped the fire suffered smoke inhalation. Their ages and condition are not yet known.

The home and two cars were a complete loss.

The Red Cross is now there helping the residents with clothes, shelter and other necessities.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
