FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno county officials have now identified the woman who was killed when she was hit by a car in southwest Fresno.
Authorities say 55-year-old Lavonda Mosle was walking across the street when she was struck by a car near Elm and Grove just after 7 PM Friday.
Investigators say she was not in a crosswalk at the time of the crash. The car that hit her took off after the collision.
Investigators say it could be a 2015 to 2020 Kia Optima with major front-end damage.
A witness performed CPR on Mosle but her injuries were too severe.
