Stranger surprises deserving Visalia man with free groceries

Gina and Roy Rodriguez were left with HUGE smiles on their faces this week after they received an unexpected Christmas present at a Visalia Save Mart -- FREE GROCERIES! When it came time to pay, Roy's card was declined, and he told the cashier he'd be right back to get the right card. As he was walking out, a lady said she would pay! He declined, but she insisted, saying it's a Christmas gift.

Although he didn't need the help, Roy deserves this nice surprise. His wife Gina says he's always stopping to help others when cars are on the side of the road. She says this is why she thinks he was blessed by the free groceries.

"This is why I love him. Even on my bad days, it doesn't change."

Now her message to the woman who paid: "Whoever you are...Thank you from the Rodriguez family, we wish you love, peace, joy, and happiness always."
