Granville shows off new Downtown Fresno project

FRESNO, Calif. -- A new gated community is under construction in the Mural District of Downtown Fresno.

Granville homes offered a sneak peak of the 85 unit mixed-use project called "The Lede." It will include studios, one and two bedroom units, and three story townhomes. Most have attached garages, and some have balconies, patios, and storage units.

This is the company's 9th downtown revitalization project. "These are longterm investment projects for us. To have a vital and flourishing downtown, you need to bring housing, you've got to bring the people, amenties, entertainment, grocery stores, parks," said Tiffanie Marshall, Granville Realty & Homes.

The first phase of homes in "The Lede" is due to be released next year. The company started pre-leasing on Saturday.
