FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Highway 168 near Shaver Lake is back open after a rockslide over the weekend.
Caltrans crews initially planned to reopen the highway by noon on Wednesday but have opened it early.

The highway is open with one-way traffic control and a pilot car leading.
On Tuesday, a team of Caltrans geologists and engineers spent the day assessing the damage on Highway 168.
A scaling team suspended on the mountainside determined there wasn't additional loose rock that posed a danger to the public.
Recent storms in the area also caused erosion on Auberry Road near Alder Springs, forcing the roadway to be shut down.
Officials have determined the erosion along Auberry road can be repaired, but it's estimated to take two weeks.
