Man shot and killed near Tule River Indian Reservation
The victim has been identified as Matthew Alfonso Eredia. He was last seen at his residence in the City of Porterville.
FRESNO, Calif. -- The Tulare County Sheriff's Department is looking into a deadly shooting near the Tule River Indian Reservation.
Detectives were dispatched to check out reports of shots being fired in the area Monday afternoon. They found the victim on the side of a road, east of the reservation. He suffered several gunshot wounds.
The victim has been identified as Matthew Alfonso Eredia. He was last seen at his residence in the City of Porterville. Eredia had been reported as missing person to the Porterville Police Department.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Tulare County Sheriff's Department.
