The Naked Cowboy plays in the midst of the blizzard

NEW YORK -- The cold never bothered him anyway!

The sighting of one of New York's most popular institutions was a sure sign that the weather was letting up on Saturday.

The Naked Cowboy delighted visitors with a performance as snow and ice swirled around him in Times Square.

He took to the streets with his guitar, donning his cowboy hat and his teeny tiny underwear. As usually, many tourists stopped to snap photos of the celebrated singer.

New York has since lifted a travel band as blizzard conditioned have began to lighten on the East Coast.
