Fresno State honors graduate killed by drunk driver
Molly Griffin, 23, was killed exactly a year ago by a drunk driver who ran a red light in northeast Fresno. Her family created a scholarship shortly after her death and the final day to apply is next Sunday.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno State is honoring a graduate of the nursing program who died exactly one year ago.



Molly Griffin, 23, was killed by a drunk driver who ran a red light in northeast Fresno. A passenger in the suspect's car also died.



A memorial bench was recently installed in Griffin's honor near McLane Hall on campus. Her family also created a scholarship shortly after her death and the final day to apply is next Sunday.
