Police detonate a suspicious device in Northeast Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Investigators are trying to find the person who placed two suspicious devices at a Northeast Fresno intersection.

Police found two metal boxes wrapped around a pair of lights poles at the intersection of First and Nees on Monday night. After further investigation, police learned the boxes had cameras inside and they were not dangerous.

They detonated one of the boxes out of caution. Police are now looking for whoever set the cameras there.
