Authorities search for driver the hit and killed Orosi man in Tulare County

TULARE COUNTY (KFSN) -- A man is dead after a hit and run accident in Tulare County. It happened around seven Thursday night on State Route 63 near Avenue 404.

The CHP said a 55-year-old man from Orosi, identified as Rafael Mariscal, was walking across State Route 63 when a driver failed to stop and hit him before fleeing the scene.

Mariscal was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries in the crash.

Officials are still looking for the driver.
