Power restored to over 17,000 customers in Merced after massive outage

MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) -- Power has been restored to over 17,000 customers in Merced after a massive outage Thursday morning.

The outages were reported just before 5:30 am.

Heavy rainfall with flooding concerns is expected for the Merced area. The storms could bring other outages.
