Community trying to help son of Clovis Unified employee killed in crash win $25K

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- You have less than 24 hours to help baby Kobe become Baby of the Year.

Thanks to continued community support for the baby who lost his mother in a deadly crash last month, Kobe has advanced through several rounds of the competition.

His mother 37-year-old Marcy Robison worked at Bud Rank Elementary School in Clovis and died in a crash on Highway 152 in Merced County.

Before tragedy struck, she entered Kobe in the contest to be featured Good Housekeeping Magazine and win $25,000.

Voting remains open with a deadline of 7 pm Thursday, October 24, so there's still time.
