Funeral for teenager killed in Clovis crash while biking
Family and friends will gather to say their final goodbyes to a teenage boy who died after colliding with a car while riding his bike in Clovis.

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Friends and family said their final goodbyes to 13-year-old Agamjodh Singh Cheema on Monday.

"Agam, you were the heart of our family," his twin brother, Ranj Cheema, said. "Your legacy lives on in every laugh, game you played, and in our souls. I love you and I'm proud to be your twin."

The Clark Intermediate student was tragically struck and killed by a car while riding his bike on Bullard near Temperance in Clovis last Tuesday evening.

The eighth grader was an honor student with straight As, highly involved in sports like football, volleyball, basketball, and wrestling.

"It's sad because we got our friend taken away early from us. He had a good future in front of him, but he got taken too soon," Agamjodh's friend, Jonathan Cecil said.

On Monday, dozens came together to honor the boy as pictures of his life and family were shown; many stopping to comfort his crying mother in the front row.

His father was too emotional to speak.

Friends and classmates wrote letters to the family during this tough time.

"I'm going to miss him, his contagious smile and his kindness," his friend, Armaan Mann said.

"Thank you for being my friend."

He leaves behind his loving parents and two brothers, including his twin, Ranj.

"He made people around him better as a teammate, student, friend, son, and as my brother," Ranj said.

"I miss everything about him: the laughter, the energy, the way he played, his heart."

It's still unclear how he and the car came into contact.

At this point, the incident is being called an accident.

Agamjodh's family has started a GoFundMe to help during this difficult time.
