Man arrested for stabbing woman in Tulare County, deputies say

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is in custody in connection to a stabbing in Terra Bella.

61-year-old Michael Eggman was arrested and now faces charges of attempted murder.

He's accused of a stabbing a 58-year-old woman.

Deputies were called to a disturbance at about 8 pm Sunday to Avenue 100 near Avenue 98.

They found the victim suffering from at least one stab wound.

She was rushed to the hospital.

The Tulare County Sheriff's Office says the stabbing happened during a fight.

There's no word on what led to the fight.
