Funerals held for San Bernardino victims Tin Nguyen, Shannon Johnson, Isaac Amanois

Three more funerals were held Saturday for those killed in the San Bernardino terror attack.

Family members and friends of 60-year-old Isaac Amanois filled St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church in Colton. They said he came to the U.S. seeking a better life, moving from Africa to California in 2000. He was a husband and father of three.

"He was a caring family man. Most importantly, he cared about his larger country. He was a former fighter in the Eritrea independence struggle," one family member said.

He was also a supervising environmental health specialist for San Bernardino County.

In Santa Ana, hundreds of people gathered at St. Barbara's Catholic Church for Tin Nguyen's funeral. She was planning her wedding when she was killed, along with Johnson, Amanois and 11 others, on Dec. 2 inside the Inland Regional Center during a holiday party.

Relatives said the 31-year-old was a strong, faithful woman who always had a big smile on her face.

The day before the shooting, Nguyen had just celebrated her fiance's 32nd birthday. The two had planned to wed in 2017.

In Jesup, Georgia, about 200 people filled a church for Shannon Johnson's memorial service.

Loved ones remembered the 45-year-old as being fearless. He had moved to Los Angeles to be with the woman he loved, rescued stray animals in the path of a wildfire and shielded someone from gunfire.

Denise Peraza, one of the shooting victims who survived, credits Johnson with saving her life.

When terror suspects Syed Farook, along with his wife Tashfeen Malik, entered the hall and opened fire, Peraza said she and Johnson hid beneath a table and he wrapped an arm around her, saying "I got you."

"I believe I am still here today because of this amazing man," Peraza said in a letter she released from the hospital not long after the shooting.
