A new study about teens and sexting shows a rise in the number of teens either sending or receiving sexually explicit texts.
The study finds 27-percent of kids under 18 receive sext messages including nude photos and nearly 15-percent of teens send them.
Some of the most concerning new data in the report relate to consent-- the study finds 12-percent of teens forwarded a sext without permission. Teens who send pornographic photos risk arrest and jail time.
The study, which focused on data since 2008, was just published in the journal "Jama Pediatrics."
