Fresno Police are investigating a shooting in Pinedale

FRESNO, Calif. -- A man was injured in a shooting just after midnight in northwest Fresno.

The incident happened near Blackstone Avenue and Minarets Avenue. When officers got there, they found a man in his forties laying in the road with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center in Downtown Fresno. Police say he's going to be okay.

Blackstone was shut down in both directions in that area for about an hour for the investigation. Detectives are now interviewing witnesses.
