15K toys collected during Toys for Tots Marathon Weekend

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Our Toys for Tots Marathon Weekend has wrapped up, and our final numbers are in.

From Friday morning through Sunday evening, we collected 15,015 toys. We also got at least 60 bikes, along with $45,500 which will be used to buy more toys for kids in need.

Action News teamed up with the United Way of Fresno and the Marine Corps League for the Toys for Tots Marathon Weekend.

And it's not too late to donate. Their goal is to collect enough to help 90,000 Valley children. Toys for Tots are hoping to receive donations through the 15th but will continue to take items in until the 24th.
