PALMDALE, Calif. (KFSN) -- Los Angeles County fire officials say they found a body inside a car found buried in mud in Palmdale Tuesday after last week's severe flooding.
A bulldozer and hand crews arrived at the scene where they found a black vehicle upside down and tilted sideways in a retention basin.
Fire authorities were attempting to dig out the vehicle that was 6 feet deep in the dirt.
There is no word on the victim's identity.
