Fresno student takes 'gun' to school, posts photo on Facebook

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno teenager was arrested after posting a picture of what looked like a gun in his pocket while sitting in class at Sunnyside High School.

Fresno gang detectives found a photo posted on Facebook with the caption "$trapped up in class tho." It turns out that gun in his pocket was actually a knife with a handle similar to a gun.

On Monday, investigators tracked the 16-year-old down at his home where they found a pistol-grip shotgun, a .22-caliber rifle and marijuana for sale. Police also found a shotgun belonging to the Sunnyside sophomore. He says a family member gave it to him.
