Pedestrian struck and killed by train in Downtown Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A person is dead after being hit by a train in Downtown Fresno.

Police say the incident happened Saturday afternoon on Diana and Divisadero Street, near Community Regional Medical Center.

No other details were provided.

Railroad company BNSF will be taking over the investigation.
