CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two Valley crossing guards, who have spent the past four years volunteering at the same Clovis intersection, received a sweet sendoff on Thursday.
Tami Atkins and Traci Brown made an impression as crossing guards not just because of the work they did, but because they also dressed up. They have worn St. Patrick's Day outfits in the past. And for the holidays, they put on ugly Christmas sweaters while they worked. Friday is their last day at their intersection, and they have special outfits planned.
But they aren't going away for good. Next year, both women will become district employees and will be assigned new jobs.
