Broadway's oldest and most exclusive gift shop for theater lovers

NEW YORK CITY -- Broadway's oldest and most exclusive gift shop is a must-see destination for theater lovers.

Fans from around the world have shopped at "One Shubert Alley" for decades.

The store recently underwent an extensive makeover but it still holds its historic charm, along with its singular emphasis on "all things Broadway".

The boutique souvenir shop has been an understated gem of the theater district for more than 40 years.

Although short on space, the store makes the most of its diminutive foot print, packing every inch with Broadway merchandise, from modestly-priced magnets to exclusive memorabilia.

Emma Kerr from The Araca Group says, "When guests come in, they're going to be able to find merchandise from all their favorite shows, whether they're brand new or some of the longest running shows on Broadway. They can find New York specific items, One Shubert Alley exclusives and their favorites that they see online and in theater."

The space itself holds some hefty Broadway credentials.

It used to be the original dressing room for the historic Booth Theatre and is located along what's arguably the most famous thoroughfare in New York City.
