FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Drink fine wine paired with exquisite food while raising money to help others.
You can sip some of the finest wines California has to offer while helping to improve the future for valley families.
During the 6th annual Fig Garden Wine Walk, which benefits Habitat for Humanity, you can sample 20 different wineries from throughout California. Local breweries will also be on tap and you can pair that with food from Fig Garden Village restaurants that will be providing bites to eat.
Habitat for Humanity has served more than 150 families in the past 30 years. That includes the building of new homes and renovations to others. Construction is completed by volunteers, as well as the soon-to-be homeowners. They are currently building the 134th and 135th homes in Fresno. They also plan to break ground on a 10 unit subdivision in the city of Clovis.
