Trump kicks off inauguration festivities with fireworks show
After mingling in the clubhouse for nearly an hour, President-elect Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump made their way to the balcony at Trump National Golf Club for a fireworks show.
Together, they listened to a live performance of "Hallelujah," "Ave Maria," "How great art Thou," and "God Bless America" while holding hands. Trump was seen whispering "wow" to the display and chatting briefly with Melania; however, their expressions remained stoic throughout the show.
As he returned back into the clubhouse, Trump did his signature dance close-up to cameras.
He was joined by his children Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany Trump. The event was held for donors, supporters, and friends to kick off celebrations ahead of Inauguration Day on Monday.
Trump did not give remarks to the press.
